Coming in late 2014, InterContinental Luanda will be located near the Miramar district, the diplomatic region of the Angolan capital and home to the majority of foreign embassies, making it the perfect residence for affluent business and diplomatic travellers. Built on an elevated terrain overlooking Luanda’s port and the city below, the 25 storey hotel will offer uninterrupted, spectacular views of the Atlantic coast.
InterContinental Luanda will comprise of 389 well-appointed, elegantly decorated rooms and suites as well as a Club InterContinental floor. Guests will have access to an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, room service and the pool bar for lighter meal choices and snacks. The lobby lounge and cocktail bar will be the perfect setting for casual meetings over coffee or drinks. In addition, for the health conscious traveller there will be a health club bar serving fresh juices.
InterContinental Luanda will also offer exclusive business and conference facilities including a 600 square metre ballroom with a foyer area, 8-10 flexible meeting rooms (totalling 500 square metres) and a boardroom. Other amenities will include a fully-equipped gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and a 300-square-metre retail space.
