Set to open in the first quarter of 2010, InterContinental Foshan is located in the affluent district of Nanhai. It is just a 10-minute drive from the hotel to central Foshan, and less than 30 minutes drive to Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Canton Fair), and only 45 minutes to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Overlooking the tranquil man-made canal, the hotel combines beautiful views of Qian Deng Lake and its elegant landscaped garden.

InterContinental Foshan features 458 well-appointed guestrooms and suites furnished with 42” LCD-TV, in-room safe, work desk with high-speed Internet and WiFi access, a multi-line telephone with voice mail and IDD and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

There are 4 permanent LCD projectors with front projection, and 4 electronic roll-down screens (200” each) in the ballroom.

Each of the six meeting rooms has its own LCD projector with electronic roll-down screens (100” each) and natural light is featured in 3 of the meeting rooms.

  • Canal Luna Chinese Restaurant: Showcases authentic Cantonese cuisine and specialities from other regions of China.   • “Ole’ Ole’” Bar & Restaurant: Is a casual restaurant specializing in a sumptuous display of Brazilian grilled meats prepared live in the open grill kitchen. For the health-conscious, a complete salad bar is available as well as a dessert bar to satisfy your sweet-tooth. Our wait staff is ready to suggest the perfect wine pairing for your juicy steak.   • Lobby Lounge: Offers a range of cocktails, spirits, international wines, fresh-brewed coffee and teas. Healthy snacks, fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and daily baked pastries are available throughout the day.
