Mathias Dahlgren is the award-winning Swedish chef’s exclusive à la carte restaurant located on the ground floor of the Bolinderska Palatset. Aiming to create a new Swedish identity through cuisine and design, Dahlgren and British designer Ilse Crawford present two dining experiences; Matsalen (The Dining Room) and Matbaren (The Food Bar). A new menu is presented daily to offer fresh local and global ingredients and produce.
The Veranda is quintessential Sweden, popular as a local meeting place and an absolute must for visitors. Classics such as Salt Cured Salmon join contemporary choices including Moose Carpaccio with a Cloudberry Compote and a Black Pepper Crème on the à la carte menu. A smörgåsbord is served year-round. Views of the harbour, Old Town and the Royal Palace paint the perfect backdrop for traditional Swedish dining.
