VINTAGE FASHION TOUR
As the Official Hotel Partner for London Fashion Week, InterContinental London Park Lane is taking personal shopping tours to the next level with its launch of London’s very first Insider Experience dedicated to vintage fashion. Following a night stay in one of our most stylish rooms, you’ll awake for a meet and greet with Funmi Odulate, author of the critically acclaimed book ‘Shopping for Vintage’ and previous style writer for Harpers Bazaar. Together you’ll share breakfast in the hotel’s Cookbook Cafe to create a custom itinerary for exploring boutiques and galleries. This experience will take you on a two and a half hour tour to remember, visiting a variety of iconic emporiums that include classics such as Rellik and Alfies Antique Market, as well as a few hidden gems.
SEE LONDON THROUGH AN ARTIST’S EYE
Start the day with a visit to the Royal Academy of Arts where you’ll see the works of emerging British artists. You’ll experience London through the eyes of the current ‘Artist in Residence,’ Jeremy Houghton. Visit famous London landmarks around the hotel and discuss how to capture such scenes on paper. It is then back to the hotel where Jeremy will tutor guests willing to try their hand at art. Experience includes a limited edition, signed print from Jeremy himself. Also included is complimentary access to the hotel’s Club InterContinental – an exquisite, contemporary lounge on the seventh floor of the hotel featuring floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the Wellington Arch and Green Park.
