Start the day with a leisurely stroll through our flower-filled gardens and down to the foreshore of the Swan River. Return to the hotel for a sumptuous breakfast then board the Perth Tram (8am and 10.05am are best times) for a casual tour of the city. The friendly drivers are repositories of local information and can help you make plans for the rest of your stay. The full trip lasts about two hours, though you can step off any time for a wander and a coffee and cake. Step off at Barrack Street for a scenic trip to Fremantle (let us book this for you in advance).

Fremantle (known as 'Freo' to the locals) is our port city and steeped in history. There's nothing like wandering through Freo in the afternoon. Again, you can join a tram tour of the city or simply take a stroll through the shopping precinct. Enjoy a coffee or a meal on the Cappuccino Strip or the Fisherman's Boat Harbour. You can taste the freshest fish and chips or sit down for a delightful three-course meal in one of the restaurants that surround the harbour. For something different, visit Little Creatures micro-brewery for some good beers and fine food made from fresh local produce.

End your day gazing at the city lights from Kings Park. The uninterrupted views, the glistening Swan River beneath you and the meandering roadways create the ideal setting to end your perfect day. If you would like to finish off with a light dinner, you can dine at Frasers restaurant in the park or for something really special, dinner at Zafferanos located along the river with views of our beautiful city.
