What is the cost of InterContinental Ambassador status?

The membership fee for new members is US $150. Priority Club Rewards members may also purchase membership for 24,000 points.

How long does it take for my InterContinental Ambassador materials to be delivered and what materials will be included inside my portfolio?

The standard delivery period is within two to three weeks (for US, Canada, Europe, Africa, Mexico, Central/ South America, Caribbean) or within two to four weeks (for Asia Pacific, Middle East). The membership portfolio includes: 5,000 Priority Club points voucher, Complimentary Weekend Night Certificate, Luggage tag, InterContinental Ambassador membership card.

After activating my status, how long before I can enjoy the benefits of InterContinental Ambassador?

Upon enrollment, status holders can start enjoying the outstanding and exclusive benefits immediately.

Is my guaranteed room upgrade provided upon booking the reservation?

No, Ambassador benefits apply exclusively at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. However, Priority Club Rewards member status and benefits apply to all brands of IHG hotels.


Complimentary Weekend Night Certificate

How long is my complimentary weekend night certificate valid?

The Complimentary Weekend Night Certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

How can the complimentary weekend night certificate be used?

Complimentary Weekend Night Certificate is redeemable in conjunction with a minimum two-night paid weekend stay. The certificate guarantees that the second weekend night is free regardless of the rate/room paid on the first night. The certificate must be presented upon checkin at the hotel.

How does InterContinental Hotels & Resorts define a weekend night?

Weekend is determined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday, except in the Middle East where hotels may define weekend as Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Do I have to book a specific rate when using the complimentary weekend night certificate?

Any rate may be booked when using the complimentary weekend night certificate with the following exceptions: In conjunction with any other promotion, Priority Club Reward Nights, Net Wholesaler/Inclusive Groups, Third Party Website/Internet and Employee rate.
