On-Post travel is made easy with the complimentary shuttle, which travels anywhere within a five-mile radius of the hotel.

Guests here for TDY or PCS appreciate the free laundry facilities and in-room iron and ironing board. Families love the playground and being centrally located. There is no need to worry about staying connected, as we have complimentary high-speed, wired Internet access. We encourage you to meet your neighbors at the BBQ Social hosted every Wednesday evening at Keith Ware Hall.

Just five miles from Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, Poxon House is a comfortable home for Soldiers, their families and the family pet. You can take a trip to nearby Killeen or Salado to explore for the day. Or, head to downtown Austin for the music, museums and a chance to eat real Texas pit barbecue.

After checking in at Keith Ware Hall, Bldg 36006, head to your room to enjoy the comfortable bedding and a cable TV with 72 channels. A free breakfast is provided each morning at Keith Ware Hall, while each floor of Poxon House features a full kitchen and all rooms have a microwave and fridge. There's a vending area conveniently located off the main lobby. We're waiting to welcome you home to Poxon House.
