BusinessAccount helps you manage your business travel expenses simply and efficiently. It costs nothing to run and it’s easy to use – you simply use it to book hotels stays, then get one monthly statement and pay one monthly direct debit.
With BusinessAccount, you’re in control:
You can have as few or as many cards as you want, depending on your requirements. You may only require one centrally held card or you may want each of your business travellers to hold their own card. You can also get a one-shot card issued for one transaction with a spending limit set by the account holder.

BusinessAccount can be used at all participating UK InterContinental Hotels Group properties.
You can book as normal online, via our central reservations office, direct with the hotel, on your corporate booking took or via your usual travel agent.
BusinessAccount can be used to pay for anything in the hotel that is charged to the room and payable on check-out. This includes rooms, meeting rooms, food and drink.
Yes, provided you give us the card number at the time of the booking. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so before 4pm on the day of your stay. Our usual cancellation charges apply.
Yes, if you book using BusinessAccount you can pay as normal using any other card, as long as you have that card with you when you check into the hotel. If you book using any other credit card and want to pay using BusinessAccount, you’ll need your BusinessAccount card on checking in.

What do I do if I have a query about my statement?
No. At check-out guests will receive a room invoice that they must sign, which details what will be charged to the account. This invoice can then be used by the company’s accounts department to reclaim the VAT. The monthly statement alone cannot be used for the VAT reclaim.
The credit card payment option is available for use if a direct debit fails for any reason. Account holders will be able to settle their accounts via an online payment to avoid any issues with card acceptance.
In the event of a hotel error at check-out the process is as the same as for any other credit or charge card. You should query the room invoice and in the case of error, the amount should be credited as normal before the card transaction is processed.
You can query a transaction on your statement at any time during the six months following the issue of the statement. Please contact the BusinessAccount help desk with your query. If it relates to a transaction that you wish to ‘charge back’, you will be asked to give details of the transaction and why it is being queried. BusinessAccount will do the rest for you, and if a credit is due it will show on your next statement.

Yes, you can request two reports to be emailed to you from the website:
Yes, you can view your statement at businessaccount.ihg.com. You will need your password and username to log in. You can view your company’s statements for the current month and the previous 12 months. You can also see transactions that have been processed but not yet billed and which are due to appear on next month’s statement.
If you have lost any of your login details email us at businessaccount@ichotelsgroup.com, and we will arrange for a new login to be set up.

You can apply for BusinessAccount using our simple online form. Apply online now
. Or you can request an application form from your local IHG hotel.
Simply login to your account online, go to manage my account and make your request. Alternatively contact us on 0845 603 2513.
You will need to log-in and select the Manage my Account option.
You will receive your card within five days of your application being received by us, provided you’ve been cleared for credit. You will not be credit-checked for additional cards if you are already a BusinessAccount holder.
If your company does not meet the initial credit scoring criteria, we may be able to offer you a pre-paid BusinessAccount card instead. This means you pre-pay an amount on the card, in advance of using it. You then ‘draw down’ against this pre-paid amount.

Can I still get Priority Club® Rewards points if I pay with BusinessAccount?
Can I earn BusinessClub points if I book using BusinessAccount?
Yes. Just provide your Priority Club® number during your stay and you can claim your Priority Club® points.
Yes. Simply log your booking in the usual way and you will earn points.
