American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organisation committed to saving lives and easing suffering. This diverse organisation serves humanity and helps you by providing relief to victims of disaster, both locally and globally. The Red Cross is responsible for half of the nation's blood supply and blood products, gives health and safety training to the public and provides emergency social services to U.S. military members and their families. In the wake of an earthquake, tornado, flood, fire, hurricane or other disaster, the Red Cross provides relief services to communities across the country. Give Kids The World is a non-profit organisation that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Give Kids The World provides accommodation at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a cost-free, week-long fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, corporations, and partnering wish-granting organisations, Give Kids The World has welcomed over 75,000 families from more than 50 countries since its founding in 1986.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat is an ecumenical Christian ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 200,000 houses around the world, providing more than one million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
