The National Museum features exhibits that focus on geology, religion, culture, archeology, and Islamic architecture. Price of admission is SR 15. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (men only) and 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (families)
Don't Go Home Without:
Given that there is no sales tax in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh can be a luxury shopper's paradise. Especially given that a number of high-end shops can be found within the city's shopping district. Riyadh's shopping district is found on Olaya Street.
Tips:
Saudi Arabia’s largest zoo, housing some 40 species of animals, permits either a mother or a father to accompany children but does not allow the whole family to vist together.
