Local Insider
Must See:
The shopping boulevard Friedrichstrasse with more than 2.000 shops and exclusive boutiques and the famous and luxury department store Galeries Lafayette, an absolute must when visiting Berlin.
Must Do:
Berlin is a city by the waterside and actually has more bridges than Venice. It's well worth discovering Berlin from the airy deck of a boat and marvel at some undiscovered romantic corner of the capital.
What's New:
Visit the Jewish Museum Berlin and the new and spectacular Glass Courtyard designed by Daniel Libeskind. Culinary highlight is the restaurant Liebermanns, adjoining the Glass Courtyard with its creative Israeli-Mediterranean cuisine.
Don't Go Home Without:
Visiting the Zoological Garden! The green oasis in the heart of the city is one of the largest Zoological Garden in the world with around 19,000 animals and some 1.400 different species.
Tips:
A very special and comfortable way to explore Berlin is to go by Velotaxi, the extraordinary cycle rickshaw. the modern vehicles are available on request for individual tours and sightseeing.
