Hours vary from summer to winter:

Winter Hours (Labor Day – Memorial Day)
Sunday – Thursday 8:30 am – 10:00 pm
Friday – Saturday 8:30 am – 11:00 pm

Summer Hours (Memorial Day – Labor Day)
Seven days a week 8:00 am – 11:00 pm

Access to The Captain’s Lagoon is available with all room rates.

No, The Captain’s Lagoon is only open to registered hotel guests.

A:
The main features of The Captain’s Lagoon include:

  • Two 30’ tall water slides
  • Kids’ Fun Pool with children’s slides and water fountains and cannons
  • Large Whirlpool Spa
  • Lounging area


Q: Do the water slides and any special rides have posted height restrictions?
A:
Rules and size requirements are posted throughout.

Q: Are there appropriate activities for children of all ages?
A:
There is a Kids’ Pool with Submarine and Octopus play structures for the younger kids and water slides that the older kids are sure to enjoy.
Note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when in the water facility.

Q: How large is The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
Approximately 6,000 square feet. This facility is smaller than the typical Waterpark due to it being open prior to Holiday Inn’s establishment of a minimum size requirement for Waterparks.

Q: Are there food and beverage concessions in The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
Currently, there is not a food and beverage outlet in this waterpark.

Q: Can I bring my own food or beverages into The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Q: Are group rates available?
A:
Yes. To book a group rate, please contact the hotel and ask for the Sales Department.

Q: Are children in standard diapers permitted in The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
Children who are not potty trained are required to wear a swim diaper when going into the water. Standard diapers are not permitted in the water.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A:
Reservations are cancelable until 6:00 pm local time the day of arrival.

Q: Are changing areas and locker facilities available?
A:
Changing areas are available, but no lockers.

Q: Is The Captain’s Lagoon easily accessible from the hotel?
A:
Yes. It is located at the West End of the North Wing of guest rooms.

Q: Is there a pool just for swimming that is separate from The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
No, but all guests have access to the Captain’s Lagoon during operating hours.

Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A:
Check-in is 4:00 pm and Check-out is 12:00 pm local time.

Q: Will I have access to The Captain’s Lagoon on the day of check-in, but prior to my check-in time?
A:
The Captain’s Lagoon is not accessible prior to check-in.

Q: Will I have access to The Captain’s Lagoon on the day of check-out, after my check-out time?
A:
The Captain’s Lagoon can not be used after check-out.

Q: Are non-water related activities available in The Captain’s Lagoon?
A:
Yes, there is a large video game room adjacent.

Q: What business services does the hotel offer?
A:
The hotel offers free high-speed internet access in all guest rooms and there is an onsite business center with computer, free high speed internet, printer, and fax machine access.
