About the Ekka. . .The Royal Queensland Show, affectionately known as the EkkA, is Queensland's largest annual event. With a heritage spanning over 132 years, Ekka is held at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds for 10 days every August. This year's Ekka will be the 132nd anniversary of the first show.
