Hotel Exterior

We are the closest hotel and proud supporter of the University of Montana Grizzlies. We are conveniently located within walking distance of UM and downtown Missoula. The Clark Fork, Bitterroot, and Blackfoot Rivers and the surrounding areas provide opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching, as well as world famous fly fishing and hiking and biking trails. Shopping is also available in historic downtown Missoula.

Holiday Inn Express offers amazing views of the Clark Fork River and close access to the famous “M” trail. Additional fall activities include White Water Rafting, and UM Griz Football Games. As well as the Adams Event Center hosting David Sedaris, Bryan Adams, Trent Tomlinson, Mannheim Steamroller, and the Moscow Ballet performing the Great Russian Nutcracker. There are many on-going activities in Missoula including First Friday Art Walks at the many Art Galleries downtown.

The Holiday Inn Express welcomes all students and their families participating in Parents Weekend. Additionally we welcome those participating in PRCA Rodeo- October 11-15.

The City of Missoula offers many opportunities to enjoy events including the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Boone and Crockett Club, and the Montana Festival of the Book in October.
