Hurricane Assist Line

With Hurricane season upon us, InterContinental Hotels Group’s number one priority is the safety of our guests and employees. IHG has strongly encouraged those of its brand hotels in threat of hurricanes or any natural disaster to keep in touch with and work with local authorities to evacuate guests and employees of the hotels as necessary.

As people flee the areas predicted to be in a storm’s path, many of IHG brand hotels in surrounding areas and along the evacuation routes are overbooked. IHG guests who have plans to travel to these affected areas are encouraged to call 1-800-334-3598, IHG’s dedicated Hurricane Assist Line, or call the hotel directly to ensure their room is still available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you can understand that our immediate concern is helping those affected by the hurricane.

Individual and Group Cancellation Policy
Guests with reservations in the projected area of a natural disaster with a scheduled arrival within one week before, or after, who have safety concerns will be allowed to cancel reservations without penalties. Any safety concerns outside of the one week time frame will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation by those individuals and groups traveling out of the areas in the path of the storm whose plans may be disrupted will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
